Sticky threads for news

My humble suggestion is to have 'sticky' threads dedicated for the 'news' in the respective sections. Such as Military aviation news; Naval News; Army News. And all of us post news in those threads. Right now generally a whole new thread is started while posting a single news, which sometimes leads to some discussion, but most of the time dies out pretty quickly and adds to the clutter.

Well we've tried the one thread for all news. The threads are dragged on quite long and all nonsense starts pretty soon. We actually prefer threads short and sweet.
