I know the 5 precepts of Yoga, known as YAMAS, which was written a few thousand years before Buddha.

1. Ahimsa (non Voilence)
2. Satya (speak the truth)
3. Asteya (Non stealing)
4. Brahmacharya (chastity / restraint from lies, ideal talk, intoxicants and $ex)
5. Aparigraha (non-possession)

Sounds familiar ?
