SUN YONG,my favorite swimmer, has already bagged two golds, and will certainly take the longest event,1500 meters champion.

.
LU YING just took a silver in women's 50 meters butterfly,She became famous not because of her performance in the swimming pool, but because of this photo on the internet.

Quite a load she is carrying there. Might be a problem in old age with the back issues. :D

Although she got my blood flowing to extremities. :omghaha:

China dominated the diving. 9 gold medals out of 10 total. Crazy!

Actually European Union outperform China and US.

If China participate under provincial names, we will have bigger opportunity to win like EU.

Taiwan...I don't see Taiwan name...

Malaysians Pandelela and Leong Mun Yee take bronze in Barcelona

July 23, 2013

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 — Malaysia’s diving aces, Pandelela Rinong Pamg and Leong Mun Yee, claimed the bronze medal in the women’s 10m platform syncronised at the 15th FINA World Championship in Barcelona, Spain, yesterday.

At the final event held at the Montjuic Municipal Pool at 5.30pm local time (12.30am Malaysian time), the duo accumulated 331.14 points for the bronze.

The Chinese pair of Chen Ruolin and Liu Huixia, as expected, claimed the gold with 356.28 points, while the silver medal went to Canada’s Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito who scored 331.41 points.

Pandelela and Mun Yee delivered Malaysia its first-ever medal in the world championship by claiming bronze in the same discipline in the 2009 edition in Rome, Italy.

However, in the 2011 edition in Shanghai, China, Pandelela and Mun Yee finished sixth. – Bernama

What channel does this event take place. I can't find it.

Sun Yang and Ye Shiwen destroyed the White superiority in swimming stereotype. They said Blacks are too heavy, and Asians too weak. Now Asians will start to kick their a$$, with more and more people becoming interested in swimming.

Asians need to start competing in Track and field and swimming more. The USA dominates the swimming everywhere she goes.

I hope 2016 Brazil goes well.

This American woman named Kate Ledecky has been shaving massive chunks of her personal best and breaking world records but western media don't even question how she did it. It's only how awesome she is. But when a non-white swimmer does it, the western media starts their propaganda campaign how it must be through cheating.

The whites think only they can swim and don't like it when non-white swimmers start beating the white swimmers. It's the worst form of racism.

Some Chinese swimmers were disappointing. Ye Shiwen had a poor swim in the 200m IM final. Women's relay teams were poor too. Tang Yi had a shocker in the women's 100m freestyle final finishing 7th. She won bronze in the London Olympics. Women have been pretty disappointing compared to what I was expecting and their potential.

Sun Yang is a superstar. It's his incredible swim that won China a bronze in the relays, the other 3 swimmers were pretty poor. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I will be happy if we can finish 2nd in the swimming medal table. Americans have too much depth for us to beat them right now. We need to build more depth in each event to hang with the Americans.

Swimming is one area we can eventually overtake the Americans but it will take a while. Swimming and Athletics are the 2 events the Americans vastly outperform China in the Olympic medal table.
