KABUL (Pajhwok): One senior police official was wounded and another killed as a result of a bomb explosion in Kabul on Sunday morning.

Capital police chief Brig. Gen. Mohammad Dawood Amin told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Badam Bagh area of the 5th police district at 5am.

He said the district’s deputy police chief Abdul Ghafoor Hafizi was slightly wounded as a magnetic bomb attached to his vehicle went off.

Gen. Amin confirmed the death of deputy director for Paghman district. He added an investigation had been launched into the incident.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in the high-security capital city.

There are only diplomats in Kabul and no one. This is so embarrassing. Another fake news only questioning Pakistani establishment and false bravado to show themselves as some heroic james bond like in film to satisfy their ego after loss of Raisin. This will only make people of Pakistan more worried and confused about their own agencies most of the time caught lying. Now people of Pakistan should be worried whom to trust. Very shameful on the part of PEMRA and ISPR as the source of news is Pakistan.
