@Abingdonboy.. thanks a lot mate.. Can you tell me how is Indian navy picking its aviators from? Is it the IAF that is providing them with trained MiG 29 pilots or Indian Navy is separately picking and training its aviators.

Well this is how it currently works. The IN selects their own Pilots, these are then sent toe the IAF Academy to be trained on stage 1 (BTT), they then are sent to all IN training institutions. The IN will be brining their entire training syllabus in-house in coming years- they have already got their own AJTs and will be receiving some PC-7 MK.2 BTTs as such the IAF will have no part in training IN Aviators. All the OCU/type training is already done in-house in IN simulators and a/c.
