State institutions vs Nawaz ? Crucial next two weeks.

From the look of it the ruling party has lost support in different circles inside the country . I might not be dead accurate but the signals being sent are indeed disturbing for Nawaz and how he reacted during his speech today in convention center was uncalled for. Here i list how some of the institutions are looking at the events.

1) Judiciary.
The CJ has recently been on record calling the system 'badshahat' Mulk Mein Jamhoriyat Ke Naam Par Badshahat Qayem Hai-In cheezon kai liay awam ko uth khara hona hoga-how profanely he asked people to come out to demand their rights has made Nawaz Sharif question himself how the Panama Leak proceedings will kickoff today? and how soon will they conclude to a verdict?

2)President
The President who rarely opens his mouth is though a lame duck with limited powers lambasted those named in Panama Leaks in a comic way "

Arif Nizami in his talk show today has revealed that the federation has started preparing for an Interim govt. and people have been contacted including his fellow journalists who are getting their sherwanis ready.As per him the Interim govt. may last for a year during which the system will be cleaned.


4) Army
The military is severely frustrated at the moment on the recent "National Security Breach" and gave the government a deadline to act against the identified culprits from their ranks else a not-so-unanimous action can take place The grudges have built over time besides the past baggage . Ufa declaration to support of a rogue Geo anchor , miscounduct and delay in funds for NAP to not renewing NACTA charter to hurdles for operation in Punjab.After recent raids in Faisalabad the evidence is strong on the nexus.

5)Opposition
Imran Khan planning to occupy Islamabad in 10 -12 days and staging another dharna that might last till court gives a verdict on Panama Leaks. With a possible reprisal from Tahir ul Qadri demanding justice for the killings of his party workers.

6) Intra Ruling Party( PMLN)
Deep crevices exist between the Shahbaz family and Nawaz family that can erupt again at some testing event when Nawaz looks around for "qurbani ka bakra". Then there are people have either been forgotten or follow Chaudhary Nisar who can part ways.

Ofcourse Nawaz also has his allies, smaller parties and PPP , the Industrialists, a few regional countries and USA.
Whoever triumphs and whatever happens over next two weeks can change the course of Pakistani politics.

In last 48 hours the govt. has shot itself in the foot on both fronts and aggravated the situation
1) Raiding the youth convention and shelling any PTI gathering which has only helped PTI to cash the drama and get more people to participate in their upcoming event.
Govt itself has locked down the twin cities and major motorways/highways defying the court ruling and now can not use the argument against IK.

2)Pervez Rasheed has been the chosen scapegoat in feeble efforts to extinguish Dawn scandal . The meeting yesterday between COAS, CM Punjab, Interior Minister and Finance Minister happened in a heated environment and the govt. requested to accept the sacrifice only to be promptly reminded that nothing but the four rats and nothing else is acceptable.Cyril gate was just a tip of the iceberg and the plantation of news was happening from PM house for some time in past and all the evidence was handed over to the govt.
-Govt was told NAP was affected by the resistance from Punjab govt. and there would be severe consequences on the matter.The recent spike in events was only because of the institutions not being on the same page.

Govt. may delay the election of new COAS by mid november but of course cant go beyond that.
Courts also delayed the start of proceedings( on govt request) by two weeks now starting on November 2nd.
IKs challenge is to avoid getting arrested near or around November 2nd .Though he has said if arrested he will come back on streets right after getting release it can break the rhythm of his movement.

Must be living in fool's paradise. Courts are there to guard and protect the law and constitution and not to break it. Courts are rather going to play an active role in ending the political blackmail and brinkmanship of PTI. It is not a jungle where you can do whatever you cocaine-affected brain thinks (or the lack of that). Your political actions have an effect on the common people. And the common people are already sick and tired of stupidity of charsi khan. Nothing is going to happen in next two weeks or even two years. Don't make a fool of yourself and others.
