Starship SN9 set for launch today

. . .
SN 9 failed its landing. It looked like there was an issue with the second engine relight. SN10 up next!
I watched the replay. First engine lit perfectly. Second engine failed on relight, and failed to control the vehicle causing the crash.

sn9 might just as well have knocked down sn10, which will probably end up like the previous two. What a great idea to have that rocket in close proximity.

I remember @F-22Raptor was boasting how successful the first attempt was despite the failed landing and that the fix should be easy after identifying the problem. Ooooops spoken too soon.

The issue was considered a minor one by both Elon and the space community. Do you realize how many Falcon 9 boosters crash landed before SpaceX perfected it? Many.....so it’s just a matter of time until they fix this issue with Starship.

You know, I had a slight urge to troll you about this, but you're just too pathetic to even bother with. Your country is just a meme now.

Let me know when China is anywhere near what SpaceX has achieved Poobah. Failure is a part of the innovation process.

Congratulation for the spectacular landing..

China wouldn't do such expensive and yet useless thing.. See how mighty US space shuttle end up. There are better ways to do it.

Over price , dangerous and poor return which can be achieved by many other methods.

Yes, we know...you just buy Soyuz tech instead of being innovators. Why do it yourself...

Your fatalist attitude toward innovation is why you aren't the first country with reusable rockets. You laugh at wasteful SpaceX reusability experiments yet happily spend hundreds of millions every year on expendable rockets.
One thing to note. Typical rocket launches ALWAYS end with destroyed boosters. So having them destroyed attempting a landing isn't a big deal.

"It was SpaceX's 73rd successful booster recovery"
73x ~$50M = $3.6B <- that's FREE R&D money

Difficult to land a Rocket , simple to just glide a plane down

It’s this type of mindset why China are followers and not leaders in innovation. It’s why SpaceX was the first mover on reusable rockets and China is playing catch-up.

Laugh all you want now, but your going to look pretty stupid when SpaceX perfects this landing technique.
