the nationalists claim alot of things, but it has lost mongolia in 1920 and manchuria in 1931. again, a party that talks big but loses every war it's involved in is no better than the indian politicians that talk about destroying china and pakistan in 96 hours.

The communist regime is going to make a big concession. Still it is not too late. Build enormous public pressure on the regime so that it does not do anything that goes against China's territorial integrity.

If it gives up claim over South Tibet, the claim over entire Tibet will become invalid technically.

Ok .. India is not the only country which is "destabilizing SE Asia" with border issues ....China has it bag full of goodies as well it seems...
on hindsight this just goes to show that the only way to go about this is dialogue and not muscle flexing ...

hmm.. Spartly & Parcel Islands in South China sea are missing from the list. PRC has running dispute with almost all the countries of SE Asia for this chain of Islands.
Or is it only PRC has staked claims on these islands and not Taiwan (ROC)??

ROC claims everything that PRC claims plus areas such as the country of mongolia(entire thing), russia(east) and parts of others(afgan, PAK, vietnam etc.) though they dont activily pursue those lands anymore, having no power projection and not viewed as a nation by most of the world and all
