These SSG commando's are possibly the ones that took part in the GHQ operation. Hats off to these brave sons of our motherland! The entire nation is thankful for their service. The ones who've embraced Shahaadat will never be forgotten.

Zarrar Company SSG at its very best! Proud of You Boys!

And I really admire what you have done to the AK-47! Love the accessories on them

I think they are not from the zarrar company keeping in mind that AK-47s would not be used in hostage rescue operation. They are still SSG troops and they are the best that we have. I really admire them.

They are Zarrar Company alright (The Anti-Terrorist Unit of SSG) and their weapon of choice is the accessorized AK-47 that you see in their hands. This weapon gives great control with the front grip and the Holographic Sight on the Piccatinny rail on top in Close Quarter Battle (CQB) situation. I should know; I have trained with them few years back ;)

Since you have experience so i take my words back.I would love to hear some stories of your interaction with them but i suppose that will not happen. Hehe

BTW Naik Muhammad Ayub Shaheed was a relative of my friend. He is from baltistan region and was an SSG commando(zarrar company). He had also taken part in lal masjid operation.

Another injured commando from Zarrar Coy.

His name most probably is Havaldar khalid.I am not sure as the name on the board at the back of his head is not clear.

Without getting into specific details, I would like to comment however that a commando is marked by both his brains and brawn. In a successful op sometimes the brain has to take the lead and sometime the brawn. We have seen display of both qualities in the GHQ op. Our Zarrar AT squad is one of the best in the world and that has been widely acknowledged by international special op outfits (from US SEALS, RANGERS to British SAS) as being superb professionals. So my highest respects go out with these cheetah's which is the reason why whenever a terror situation arises anywhere in Pakistan, I sincerely feel sorry for the terrorists because of the ferocity & lethality of the Zarrar Company. :taz:
