Sri Lanks re-negotiates port deal with China

As per the new proposal the port cannot be used by any Chinese naval ships or military. The security and maintenance of the entire port region would be handled by Sri Lanka alone.

Next would be how long will Chinese firm stay and bleed itself commercially.

Its very impressive of Sri Lanka, the way they maneuver to have their sovereignty maintained when caught between power play of two massive countries. Pakistani leadership could learn a whole book from them in that regard.
