Now please, you are also not doing good to the topic. SL definetly has edge when it comes to ratio-comparison of economics with most south asian countries. But that does not mean they are better economy. Economies are dependent on magnitude, not ratio-comparison.

GDP Per capita is an indicator of life style and living conditions of a country. In some areas SL has better data than India, but that is because it is a small island state, Not world's 7th largest country. Everything has pros and cons.
