Sri Lankan Air chief due to discuss JF-17

.
PAC was constructing around 1 JF-17 Thunder in 90 days, now with extra shifts they are maintaining the target to construct around 3 JF-17s in 90 days. What more do you need for a confirmation.
there is something wrong PAC says that they produce 16-25 jets per year and production rate can be increase further if export orders came.. but your are saying that PAC produce 1 jet in 90 days by that means they are producing 4 jets in a year??

. .
Yak-130 is trainer/light attack not really what Sri Lanka wants and F-16 is too expensive and we don't have much experience with US fighters
It's not that. Sri Lanka can buy used F-16s Block-15 with MUL-4 from USAF and they will help them train as well. It's a reliable platform too.

. .
For block-III as we were assuming a new structure or engine upgrades etc ... This is not going to happen in Block-III at least as I have talked to multiple people working on the project. It will come with with just several Radar, Avionic updates

Is CFTs are under consideration for JFT?

Didn't hear it for the Block-III, PAC might be considering it in Block-IV.

That's what I was told by an engineer working in Final Assembly Hanger over JF-17 Thunder.

I need to ask you a lot of stuff buddy .......

Sure buddy! :-)

bhai jan they're not working at one aircraft at any given time. They usually work on many aircraft simultaneously
and it actually takes them longer than just 3 months t build that plane. 6-8 months if im correct

90 days to be accurate.

Actually, I have seen the Final Assembly and there are over 8 jets in one hanger and there is only production hanger to be accurate. So you were right about PAC saying they manufacture per 16-25 jets per year. Which is now tripled.

just asking one pathetic source nothing else

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 6] | Page 237

like PAC will be producing 20 Block2s per year. Block 1s will be upgraded to block 2s .Aesa will be integrated on Block3s ( Aesa radar already under development in China). Two seater will fly next year etc etc...

No one goes for the production of even 1/4 of the aircraft or any other product without the confirm order in hand.
Without the deal is inked, the production cannot be started and the speed of production depends on various factors and targets.

I think SL airforce will go for Mig 29SMT
