All he is doing is going there to shine the boots of his masters and pretend that he is actually doing something for Sri Lanka. The country bumpkin president of Sri Lanka would have lept at the chance to go overseas and fly on a plane and no doubt he is having his fill of lavish banquets and enjoying the effusive praise from the Indian establishment for basically being their bitch. And what exactly has he to show for his visit to Bharat? A totally pointless "nuclear" agreement (which the Indian media are crowing about as if it is the next best thing after sliced bread), and a host of other useless agreements with India including yet another "cultural" one. I'm sorry, but Sri Lanka has had more than enough of Indian "culture"... we don't need any more. We don't need the rape, caste oppression, burning witches, marrying dogs, open defecation, lack of toilets, child labour etc. And what does India get? The change to get rid of SL Tamil refugees, the chance to use the so-called Indian Tamils in Sri Lanka as a fifth column, and they will no doubt push the case for thieving Tamil Nadu fishermen to steal Sri Lankan resources at their will (they've already managed to get Sirisena to release all the impounded trawlers) as well as ensuring Sri Lankan ports remain open only to India and no other country. India: 2 Sri Lanka: 0

Sirisena or no Sirisena i was cheering for the change the country drastically needed.. I do not have a third world mentality of personality worship like you seem to have.. I have praised MR when he deserved it and condemned him likewise..That is the difference.. I live in a country where policies, good governance and the rule of law is paramount not in some banana republic to some tin pot dictator and his coterie.. That is what i wanted for Sri Lanka, And it's people deserve it

Agreements are not pulled out of a hat to sign.

They are worked out in detail months before a visit hence the Pres knew what he shall have to sign on.
