how long does it take to sponsor a wife frrom pakistan to Canada? does anyone know the duration? also how can you fasten the process?

I am thinking of marrying a girl from Pakistan, rather here in Canada. Canadian pakistani girls are just messed up in their minds. No wonder so many guys here go back home to find a wife. Also most of the time they can find a very hot beautiful wife from Pakistan

I think the process is fairly simple. If you are a Canadian Citizen, employed... Get your legal documents ready.

1) Your passport
2) Bank Statement
3) Proof of income
4) Proof of address
5) Marriage Agreement / Nikah Nama

is mostly the relevant documents for such purpose. In some countries like in UK, they have now set a condition that the Husband/wife sponsoring from UK must have a minimum salary of £18500 per annum. The bottom line is, when you bring your wife over to Canada, she must not become burden upon the Canadian government and must not take benefits from the Government.

I think similar rules should apply if sponsored by the Canadian Citizen.

why do you think Canadian Pakistani girls are messed up ? I have known many of them some times I backed out because I was not yet ready, some times they did, look if you want to marry then marry but if you want to literally interrogate their character & out look behind, the excuse of get to know each other , then any girl will be highly shameless to keep up with such, when you stay in Canada then also appreciate the Canadian way of life. as you have no right to generalize people as messed up, go to Karachi or Lahore & see what goes on there in those underground disco parties, parks, malls & then say . we Canadians from south Asia are what we say we are, what you see is what you get @least we don't talk about morality & @ the same time make it out in internet cafe's, when we have to screw we do it in the open ! naked yes we are..... Hypocrite no we are not !

The sponsoring wife from Pakistan would take a bit longer in approximately 2 years, Canada system has change to become tough policy against Immigration last few years especially Pakistan (21-28 months). It does not have any fasten process, only option is you have to wait and patience. Yes, most Pakistani girl in Pakistan is more stable and mutual understanding than Canadian-Pakistani girls.

anyways, the Canadian immigration website says, that it takes 14-16 months. I hope this is true

It may vary depending upon individual's circumstances. I think in most cases, It shouldn't take longer than 3 months.

If you think 3 months is too long.. come on, you are going to spend rest of your life with her? and my cousin got visa for his wife on the same day he had applied about 5 years ago. Now thats a different matter that he was born in UK and been working at the same company for about 10 years and at a respectable position.
