The full title of the map actually reads the "Map of Empire direct province". It doesn't include general administration zone and minor islands, which is why you won't see the vast Xinjiang or Manchuria territory. Matter fact the map is not an official publication by the Qing government with geographic terms that's used only during post Qing era.

Just becos its in Hanzi, then its official? I remember vietnamese uses hanzi before going roman. Who knows it might be vietnamese writing all these and claimed its official Chinese. You need to brush up your lying skill. So pathetic.

Sorry, during the Qing dynasty, they don't call it Hai Nan island, they called it Qiong Zhou. Any map published by the Qing government calling the island HaiNan would be a fake one.
