So which should I buy? Canon vs. Nikon vs. Sony?
Again, I am glad to see Sony innovating and producing great features on their cameras. I sincerely hope that they continue to grow and eventually provide legitimate competition for Canon and Nikon. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Sony as a first DSLR to my readers. There are simply too many drawbacks and I don’t see them overcoming the advantages in most situations.

Get a Canon 60D. Its a great camera. Has all the good features of professional camera in a consumer package.

The new Sony DSLRs are pretty good cameras, and will produce excellent images. The lens variety may not be as wide as for Nikon and Canon, but for it depends on the type of photography you have in mind, and your budget.

Buy Sony, give them some pocket lift, if not a face lift. Its loosing 5 billion yearly lol..

Go for Canon or Nikon. They have a large range of lenses which Sony cant match. I recently bought a Canon 60D. Its a great camera. Not very expensive and has good features too.

For most routine photography, any current DSLR will do a great job.
