It was supposedly imposed in a small part of Kerala in 18th centaury. Even this story was proven to be a myth spread by Marxist authors.

I didn't connect breast tax to Somnath. Breast tax is nothing compared to full fledged slavery and temple prostitution at Somnath. It would be an insult to the victims of Somnath to compare their oppression and torture to less severe issues.
