I am not sure I concur with that view. Growing up, our house in the Naval colony we lived in was the 4th house that got TV. There used to be absolutely no furniture in anyone's house. Chatai was the norm with a few broken steel chairs. A little bit upper scale houses would have some boxes with bedspread over it to make a divan. I saw Bangalore transform before my eyes. Suddenly streets are overcrowded with expensive cars and there are brand new houses coming up everywhere, most of it all 3 floor builder apartments. It is not just Bangalore, you go further away to small towns like Chintamani or Davangere or Coorg or Belgaum, all these places you can actually feel a vast change over what used to be. The same is the case in almost all states of India, perhaps to a lesser extent in the Eastern states. I firmly believe, haati ke khane ke daanth aur hote hai aur dikhane ke kuch aur.

Uk has the capacity to bounce back, But EU candidates do take jobs away, but then again they bring in Money too .... difficult to say

there is recovery and growth has been seen, but would atleast take a decade

Every channel has their own views and propaganda. Watching CNN makes me feel like US is still growing at 8% per year, while RT makes me feel like US is a third world hell hole.

Didn't watch. But I think UK, Germany has done better than south EU countries so far.
