I have seen many pictures of the Himalayan parts of Northern Pakistan and I admit that the scenery there is more spectacular than anything you can find in Iran. At the same time, each part of the world has its unique attractions. The Canadian Rockies are something ... Banff / Lake Louse area.

There is a little known and relatively dry (with some forests) province in western Iran - Ilam - and these High Quality videos capture a different kind of beauty, some of the pictures are really great, others average:

Every place has its own beauty and no sane person can say, I have seen them all. Patriotism is the wrong lens through which to watch beauty of nature.

The cave houses/hotel looks beautiful, but I will not be able to live in rooms with no windows.

The Atlantic is an awesome journal of photos from around the world. They are almost always even-handed and serve to simply illustrate cultures. The differences are more often charming than not.

Series like this go a long ways towards putting a face on an "enemy" and hopefully helping us all realize that we are all pretty much alike.
