Those two cities are holy, but yeah Saudi state sponsored clerics are hypocritical. They should just resign at this point. You should see what they say about other Muslims and how many times they have slandered other Muslims to benefit the regime. If they are going to slander other Muslims they better hold their people accountable too. There are a lot of expats in Saudi Arabia that definitely attend these concerts too, so not all them are Saudi but still will like to hear the clerics positions on this.

Agreed they are stepping in from the stone age to the 21st century but it is to late, why haven't the Salafist clerics who would condoned the concert and advocate bombings (if this concert happened in Turkey, Pakistan, Iraq etc) haven't gone berserk haha.

It is about money to, there economies are making loses and you will see further increases in VAT, hiked prices, new ventures to keep money in the country.

Nothing wrong with Bartying sauuwdis. Its their right.
Sauuwdis and iranians are 360 degrees opposite of how they dress and what they become when in west or when not under surveillance e.g night clubs or under ground parties.
What is in the video is absolutely normal for what they actually are but literally just shows the tip of the ice berg.

It is a cultural thing. I like Turkey and Azerbaijan liberal and secular and I like KSA and Iran to be more religious because that is what the majority have chosen.

I don't like Western intrusion into the culture in the Middle East. The Middle East is my home, so I hate it being ruined in any way. I don't want this to be the trend. I was watching Yemeni TV and they had a traditional concert with European instruments and traditional Arab songs.

I have seen how some "pious" Saudis act when they reach western shores....at all kind of night time-liberalised haunts....its pretty gross. The basic issue extends everywhere...

As I was telling my mother few days back, in pretty much every culture/religion ...it is said before HE appears to set things square again...HIS name will be spoken by very few... and fewer still will believe in HIM. We are seeing the signs of the trend toward that time in full flow now...even if we are not there to witness it. Each century will play its role in the decline of human spirit and true conscience....and the march of this somewhat new flavour of human ego....till the great chastisement happens.
