Doesn't have to be. if a commander commands his troops, most of them obey and do whatever they are asked to do. Turkey is a military power and all the military bases have hi tech military equipment available.

i'm in and that's true, people are massing in squares atm.

Since this coup has not public support this time ... it will be a failed attempt ... but question is such coup are always supported by some major power. in this coup who was pulling the strings,we will see in coming few days, because Americans and NATO both are silent no official statement yet.. they are waiting if it will be successful military coup they will stand with military as they did in Egypt for Sisi. but in turkey situation is different
