As such there is no shia sunni rift. I as a sunni am ready to die for my shia brothers and I consider them my equal as muslims or Pakistanis. There were also sunnis who in a filled courtroom were witnesses and swore that LEJ had attacked their shia brothers.

I think whatever the problem is it is on our side. The problem is us sunnis unwillingness to take action against sunni terrorist organizations like the TTP, LEJ and Jundullah. In Quetta thousands of shias have been slain but no one has taken action against these militant groups that attack them. The fact is as the majority we should be providing support to minorities and make it clear to them that we will protect them. That hasn't happened.

In other cases it is our fanaticism. Point me to even a single event where shias blew themselves up or killed innocent civilians. Yes Sipah e muhammed and other Shia groups have routinely targetted Sipah E Sahaba and Lashkar e Jhangvi but they have never waged war on sunni civilians like the TTP and LEJ are today. Because of this i have a pretty sympathetic stand towards shias.

Also a mehdi will/has come. In hadis there is zikr of this mehdi in dabbay lavz. I am not even a shia though I say this.

What about Pak shia who are being targeted just like ahmadiyaw n Hindus etc despite comprising almost over 35% of the total population ?
