That is correct. Infact many snake charmers do it on purpose so they get immune to the snake bites. Many even develop a desire, since venom from certain snakes contain neurotoxins, which at lower doses give sort of a pleasure.

Actually you see, traditional snake catchers are immune to their bites and poison. They get bites more than everyone and through generations they have developed some immunity.

It actually depends on the severity and quantity of the toxin that is administered to the body, even if the body has developed some immunity to certain reptilian toxins. But that's for another day.
