I had heard rasmalai (or was it rasgulla?) which was finds its origin in W.bengal.

THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER, YOUNG LADY.

But, just to suspend a discussion of your slighting conduct for a moment, yes, the rossogolla was invented in Bengal. Every other sweet was merely perfected.

ager ap nay soun halwa nahi khaya na, tou seriously you are missing it... find out in UAE, there must be some place where you can get it..

there is another thing called dodda, its a specialty fromm Khushab region.. you can eat like 1-2 kg in a day with no problem at all.. and its absolutely delicious.

we have sounpapdi not halwa...should taste same. But Patisa sounds diff. :)

might be a variety with same ingredients, I like Patisa, but this particular one which dissolves in mouth..
