Now you're just being obnoxious.. Can you pls elaborate what these policies that the GOSL practice that are discriminatory specifically to Tamils in the island ?? Cos we Sri Lankans living and have lived there seem to be quite oblivious to it.. Funny that Indians who know next to nothing of Sri Lanka or the intricacies Lankan society seem to be experts of it..

The Sri Lankan defence establishment has successfully accomplished the feat of renditioning a senior leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE) functioning abroad with the aid and cooperation of Iranian and Malaysian authorities. After the Indian Army left in March 1990 and the LTTE took over the North , Nanthagopan was sent to Jaffna where he served as chief deputy cum bodyguard to Veerakathi Manivannan alias Castro who was then in charge of the offshore Islands and islets of Jaffna. These Islands however were wrested back by the Armed forces through a successful military operation conducted in mid-1990.
Thereafter Nanthagopan relocated to the Jaffna peninsula and functioned as part of Castro’s group. Castro hailing from Valvettithurai was an old student of Hartley College, Point Pedro. The duties of this office was to maintain and coordinate links with overseas branches and key individuals among the Diaspora. A system of passes akin to visas was also introduced for Diaspora individuals and families visiting the North which was then very much under the control of the LTTE.
A separate office known as “Nanthavanam”was set up for overseeing matters concerning overseas branches and Diaspora members. Nope KP (Kumaran Pathmanaban) was.. But he deflected after a under cover rendition by the SL intelligence.. So it's not highly unlikely for Pottu Amman..
The fact is the LTTE rump is now hijacked by the diaspora extremist Tamils that have neither faced a bullet nor have set foot on the island, Many are brainwashed second generation citizens of western countries.. Most of the actual LTTE former members have either integrated with the rest of the population or have become political/ social leaders of the community often working along side the GOSL
