I'd say it's "almost" perfect here.
The dating scene here is not at all like UK, so if you are single UK is better.
You still have the "mafia" issue here, you will see them here and there and that gives you a feeling of not being safe, I don't like it when criminals get respect.
The the police of course, if something happens you might need to fight very hard for your rights. If for instance someone robs you or beats you up, low chance but still after a crime has been done the process sucks, you need to get lawyers and run around just to get justice, while in UK the government/police does it for you most of the time.
I'd say both UK and Turkey has it's good and bad sides, but in the end I think richer EU countries will win.

There is a big difference between becoming homeless or hungry in Turkey and the same in rich European countries, you get much more help if you are down.
In Turkey say you get in a car accident or get very sick and are unable to work, you still need to work very hard just to survive. While in richer EU countries government steps in and helps you.
