I think he meant the civil war going on in libya after the fall of gazafe between different factions fighting for control.

Sisi never supported basher but unlike many arab states that want basher out by any possible way even if these ways are gonna destroy syria forever sisi want to keep a form of government with a strong national army that follows no political agenda to prevent syria from breaking up into different areas control ed by different militias also he doesn't want the mbs or any other religious group to ta ke control of the weak country and turn it into a second iran

i don't understand.

sisi doesn't want syria to become iran or saudia or afghanistan or tunisia but sisi also doesn't want to support the syrian government and very casually says "syrian government to fall soon"??

sisi doesn't want mb in egypt but is not helping syrian government against the mb in syria??

Morsi who is Muslim Brotherhood which is Sunni Islamic backed FSA. After Sisi arrested Morsi, Sisi withdrew Egypt's support for FSA. Sisi is neutral and does not back either side.

superboy, the libyan muslim population was sunni entirely ( as far as i know ), yet "sunni" qaeda, taliban, ikhwaan, ntc etc invaded libya... saddam was sunni yet was hated by the gcc monarchies and iraq was invaded.

there is no sunni vs shia war in syria... it is independence/socialist-system vs capitalism-imperialism... please understand this.

By default, Muslims are Sunnis. Shia are only the rebellious minority who do not accept the first 3 caliphs. Here in China all Muslims are Sunni. Most Sunnis don't even know they are Sunnis.

Shia is not even an issue. They are a very small minority. ISIS and Nusra and Islamic Front already kill each other while Assad is alive. Sunnis kill Sunnis more than any other on the planet.
