None in this article mention the airborne as the free floating virus - if it really the cause of contagion, or even if it exist! The article only explain the aerosol droplets! and say that the "MASK" is still effective! opposite to what you believe.

That means there is no evidence the free floating virus infect human, and that Mask is even still effective to protect from the evolving coronavirus

OK, that means you have no evidence, just your imagination / belief.

Even the imagination is questionable: how come free floating virus produced? the virus live in a host, that mean there is a strong separation process between the host/droplet/aerosol and the stand alone virus to make the virus stand alone and floating in air.

Virus are small enough to float in the air. When virus leave cells, they are not in droplets. When people exhale them, they are not in droplets.

Learn some physics and biology. Virus doesn't tend to travel outside host, because it can only live and reproduce in a host. Only separation process can have it leave body but still inside the media (droplet/aerosol saliva).
