Since 1978 China's economy reforms, China extracted and consumed 70 billion tons of coal from the underground.

This doesn't include the billions tons of coal imported from Indonesia, Australia, Mongolia, Canada, USA and Russia

Now China starts to reduce the consumption of coal.

But from 1978-2015, China already consumed 70 billion tons of coal.

This number exceeds the Europe's 100 years consumption of coal.

China still has about 4 trillion tons of mineral reserves of coal uncovered.

But now China wants to produce and import more natural gases and crude oil.

the second plan is to build more nuclear plants, now China is building 27 nuclear reactors at the same time.

China is the world's largest hydroelectricity producer/ The hydroelectricity China produced in 2014 is larger than Canada, USA, Brazil and Russia all combined.

Currently, China consumed around 3.8 billion tons of coal by one year

The hydroelectricity generation can save China 500 million tons of coal a year.

The nuclear electricity can save China around 100 million tons of coal a year.

The wind energy (China's the largest wind power producer in the world) can save China about 50 million tons of coal a year.

This is the energy consumption you need for the industrilization.

In order to get full urbanization,China needs to consume 200 billion tons of coal and 50 billion tons of crude oil
