I have been compiling a list of all the 1,281 Sikorsky S-55/H-19's ever built for some years now and I am hoping some people reading this may have an more in depth knowledge of the H-19's use with the PAF.
The details I have are few (and confusing). If anybody could supply the numbers that were delivered to the PAF, that would be a great start.
I believe 2 H-19A's and 4 H-19D's were aquired through various MAP programmes in the 1950's, but have heard the total delivered could have been as high as 10?
If anybody could aslo confirm serials used and or fates of these helicopters, that would be very gratefully recieved.
Serials I have as possibly delivered to the PAF are
56-4252/3 and 57-5977/9
