ADM delegation meets Geelani, Malik, Mir

Srinagar: A delegation of Akali Dal Maan (ADM) Monday called upon Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani at his Hyderpora residence. The delegation also called upon Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yaseen Malik and JKLF (H) Chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir at Kothi Bagh police station.

In a statement Hurriyat (G) spokesman said ADM delegation reached Geelani’s residence at 10:30 in the morning but were kept waiting outside the gate for an hour.

“Police didn’t allow ADM delegation to enter the house. ADM resisted the move and sat on a dharna for about an hour and were allowed to enter only at 11:40 after the police forces deployed outside our office talked to their higher ups,” Hurriyat (G) spokesperson Ayaz Akbar said.

During its conversation with Geelani, ADM delegation assured their full support to Kashmir struggle, Hurriyat spokesperson said.

“We completely support the right to self determination of Kashmiri people. India has emerged as an imperialistic nation where Sikhs and Muslims are being given a second hand treatment.
Compared to India we are given a better treatment in Pakistan and our religious affairs are being looked after by an independent board. The government of Pakistan doesn’t interfere into our religious matters. We feel humiliated by the attitude of India towards Sikh community,” Hurriyat quoted ADM President Simran Jeet Singh as saying.

“We respect Geelani Sahib very much and get inspired by his steadfastness. Geelani has always supported the Sikh community and gave us a sense of security in Valley,” the statement said.

Geelani while assuring full support to the Sikh community said that after “freedom” their rights will be safeguarded.
“When Kashmir will attain freedom, all the minority communities including Sikhs will be given full respect and their religious and other rights will be honored. We will ensure that they remain safe and their rights are well guarded,” Geelani said.
“We are facing Indian occupation in the valley. It is also a responsibility of our Sikh brothers that they should provide a moral support to our struggle,” he said.

Meanwhile ADM also met JKLF Chairman Yaseen Malik and JKLF (H) Chairman Javaid Mir here at Kothi Bagh police station.

In a statement issued here JKLF spokesperson said ADM Chairman Simran Jeet Singh condemned the detention of Malik and other pro freedom leaders.

“Mann Sahib strongly condemned the illegal arrest of Yasin Malik and other separatist leaders. He said that oppression unleashed by India against Kashmiris is inhuman and uncivilized and no human or democrat can approve such suppression. He said the way Kashmiri voice is being suppressed is horrible,” JKLF spokesperson said.

“ADM stands by their Kashmiri brethren in this hour of grief and sorrow and for showing our solidarity with Kashmiri nation we have traveled all along from Punjab to Kashmir. Similar kind of oppressive measures are also used against the true voices of Sikhs in Punjab. We also face this oppression and state terrorism and our voices are also being suppressed with iron fist,” JKLF statement quoted ADM Chairman as saying.

On the occasion Malik said the “oppressors” are the same and apply same methodology to suppress poor nations.
“The agony and struggle for freedom of all suppressed nations is always same. The oppressors are also same and apply same tyrant methodology to suppress poor nations. These oppressors often gain ground and triumph and announce to have cleaned up the struggle of oppressed nations but the course of history stands witness to the fact that this victory remains for time being as the oppressed nations rise again and again and strive till their final victory,” Malik said.

Malik said it is also a universal fact that oppressed have the last laugh in the war between truth and false and the oppressor’s defeat becomes his final fate.

Malik while thanking ADM delegation for showing concern over the plight of Kashmiris, said as we heard Sikhs in Punjab too face hardships and state violence and their real voices are too being suppressed, we want to assure our brethren that Kashmiris stand along with them and support their just cause.

Meanwhile JKLF member Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and Ghulam Mohammed Dar remained in police custody while as JKLF district President Ganderbal, Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) is still under detention in Ganderbal police station.

‘Sikhs getting better treatment in Pakistan than India’

LOL.
Is this a joke?

Sikhs complaining about being unfairly treated is like the Pakistani Punjabis claiming that Pakistan is not treating them fairly

The Sikhs are the prosperous and elite of India, India is theirs.

How many Sikhs are left in Pakistan ?

And by the rate at which they are leaving they will go extinct quite soon
