Posting some links about Sikhs atrocities against muslims of East Punjab and other parts of India on way to Pakistan in 1947. Stories about Sikh jathas of 10000 against kafilas counting 60-70 people ... Most of the muslims leaving India for Pakistan were killed by Sikh Jatthas, only very few made it to Pakistan. Not easy to cross Sikh bastions after their leade Master tara singh said "No muslim will alive cross over from India to Pakistan" , and right he was.

What is the use of this kind of thread. Spreading hate and reminding the painful event won't get us anything reality is hindu paid Sikh with intrest by supporting them. There is incident in " jalwayan wala bagh" atrocity by British mostly Sikh died and then muslims and look how many sikhs and muslims are in England living happily.
I suggest u to open a thread about hindu terrorism who elected Terrorist Prime Minister N Mody.

The partition was a collective tragedy for the people of that time in the subcontinent.

People died on both the sides. Let's not dwell into the past.

Touchy subject. I have also heard stories from my grandmother of the attorcities committed by Sikhs on Muslims seeking to leave India. She said trains full of dead bodies arrived in Pakistan.

Having said that some Sikhs not wishing to move were also targeted by muslim mobs. So it went both ways. Punjab didn't break easily.

Its both side's fault muslims started to kill hindus and sikhs in west punjab and those who arrived to east punjab were so angry they started to kill the muslims there and I have to say one thing punjabi muslims suffered the most because a lot of areas in east punjab were muslim majority and still ended up in india and sikh jathas would go around kill muslims in villages, towns and cities to change the demographics of the region. .

you gentle men if i may say so, are forgetting/ignoring a big point, and the point is why did Muslims felt to part from India when they ruled it for 1000 years if mughals/other than Mughals king are include.

The main reason was the the treatment of Muslim during British rule and the the feeling was that muslims cannot live with Hindus as they were totally bent to deny everything that Muslims stood for, so Mohammed Ali Jinnah left congress and joined Muslims league after realizing it. so stop blaming Muslims and read the truth of history. why Muslims felt to separate.
