Siddiqui removed as Karachi commissioner

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Monday removed Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui from his post and ordered Hyderabad Division Commissioner Asif Hyder Shah to take the additional charge of the vacant post. Official sources confirmed that a notification ordering Siddiqui's removal and Shah's appointment has been issued. Shoaib Siddiqui, who was appointed Karachi commissioner in April 2013, has been ordered to report to the Department Of Services And General Administration. Before being appointed as commissioner, Siddiqui was performing duties as additional secretary at Aiwan-e-Saddar. He had also served in the KMC, the defunct Karachi Development Authority as well as in the defunct city district government.The newly-appointed Karachi commissioner, Asif Hyder Shah, is reportedly a close relative of provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah.

It once was but after BB it has become a joke and corrupt party that also works like a monarch where they in a dictator way eat all the money and accomodate friends and relatives...

The way bilawel and bukhtawar move about with protocol as if they are kings and queens makes my blood boil and I an reminded of the French revolution and the Russian October revolution...

I hate them and I hate the PPP and every time they win my blood boils.

Sindh is a very important area for Pakistan and Sindhi's are my brothers and I want to see them living a good life but it can't happen if they remain the architect of their own destruction and keep voting for them...

I just dont get it....they vote for these blood sucking fleas then suffer then forget that and still vote for these creatures? Its unbelievable! Seriously! They have destroyed soo many institutions I am shocked anyone even thinks of PPP as a party and not a terrorist organization who is breaking a part of Pakistan!

They should have been branded a terror organization in 2013.. So much for those tall claims of dragging them through the streets. Couldn't even arrest under law.

I raised my hands on their thinking when PPP still won in sindh and I was shocked when they did well in local body elections... If they win in 2018 then I will be petrified. I have no idea what goes in the head of the voter who stamps PPP and then goes Back to his home and finds nothing over there.

I think its a confrontational move by PPP to tackle MQM's mayor by appointing close aide as a commissioner of Karachi.

very sad indeed. my uncle who works in kda told me he was one of the most respected and efficient officers in karachi administration. did a lot of work in mustafa kamal era as well. damn you ppp.
