Good , also other cities should come forward and develope their cities like Faisalabad. They are really lackingbeehind, for so many years be have had talks about new airport in Faisalabad, but still Faisalabad havnt got new airport.

Faisalabad and Sialkot airport is must for Lahore airport, incase of emergency like fog problem i Lahore airport. In London and New York they have many relieve airports for the main airport, but in Pakistan we havnt so many. In addition to that after travelling to many countries i have found out that airport building in Lahore and Islamabad is smaller then in little cities in Europe.

Why not. People in subcontinent should be able to visit the places of their ancestor in India or Pakistan without any fear. My uncle become friend with an elder Indian lady in USA, and she later visited Pakistan through Wagha border, and spent some weeks in Pakistan before she again left for India via Wagha border.

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) went alone built the international airport in Sialkot when Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority refused. Now they want to start their own airline to serve the population and industries in their region. This is free enterprise at its best. The governments are corrupt and government owned PIA has three tines more employees than it is required. Let the private sector slowly develop Pakistan where is is most required.

We will welcome you with open arms .

I live in sialkot and although it cannot boast of very great sights of tourism (Apart from an old castle and Head Marala) it has a very stable aura . The security is great and no terrorist activities (The last bomb attack being 2004 , Not counting the mob attack) . The people are more open towards development and education . Primary (Grade 8) is a must even in faraway villages .
The city also has a very efficient trade and industrial sector . To be honest you cannot ask for much more

The Sialkot International Airport is owned by a private corporation and its shareholders are the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) members. The proposed airlines "Iqbal Air" would also be a private company owned by the members of SCCI.
