WAP means Wireless access Protocol..The idea is to enable mobility ...you can locate multiple WAP enabled Websites...they generally have lighter version.

i use have used both opera and opera mini, they work fine but the problem is that it opens the pages as it were being open on a computer, it downloads all the stuff, it works but it is cumbersome.

Have you visited the mobile supported msn, google or any other page? They are made for WAP so they omit the extra stuff.

In case of PDF avatars, the banners etc can be omitted in the WAP supported version.

Well, I visit on my mobile pretty frequently and works well for me using edge. You can always block images and browse through the board. Opera mini already reduces the page size and with no images going is smooth. If you want to see an image, it can be done anyways.

You are right but you still aren't getting what i am trying to say. There is a difference between a page loaded WITHOUT IMAGES and a page that is WAP ENABLED i.e. made for mobile surfing!
