Hey! Everyone is doing it. The US, the Brits, the Italians, and even the Canadians now just across the border. It's the talk of town lately. So why shouldn't we?

Unemployment and poverty are rife making illiterate waziris very vulnerable to outside military recruiters for mercenary work and terrorism.

The whole purpose of 'war' is to defeat the enemy. Make them bend down to the knees or simply give up their objective. And conventional military wars are the last resort in this era as wars are fought and won through economy, media, psy-ops, as well as other non-conventional means first.

Now that we're in war with TTP and their associates and we are maintaining a huge military presence in SW. Why shouldn't we utilize the money factor and start buying out especially the youth whilst providing incentives for others to stop fighting so as to minimize PA military and civilian losses.

This strategy worked to a certain extent in Swat. Has the PA any such thing in mind?

Would this work or not? What do you say?

Thanks
