Should Pasha get another Extension and Why?

In the power game, they have already lost their horse; the defence secretary and it seems he wont get his position back through unlawful means, although the petition is in SC against the PM for sacking defence secretary without following the due course.

that apart, the question of Pasha extension will arise, in march probably.

so why will the question of extension arise in the first place?

if so arise, should Prime minister grant him extension and if yes, then on what grounds?

My opinion is that any extension awarded to any individual most necessarily means that the ones following him/her are incompetent and not in a league to be given the responsibility. This is usually very unfair to the next in line, who deserves to be promoted.

I am against any extension at any post... lets have some confidence over the system. if some1 is promoted to a rank i think he is wise enough to carry out his duties...

Dunno what the culture in the armed forces is but here in the corporate sector (or even governmental civilian setups) getting an extension for the latter and overstaying your tenure for the former does have a resentful back-lash amongst your juniors. I think Pasha should call it a day when the time comes and let his successor take over.
