I am not in favour of death punishment but life imprisonment similar to murder can be introduced after transparent laws have been introduced and implemented to avoid personal vendetta. I am also in favour of taking ownership of his entire property including the one he received in heritage to discourage corruption

But we have to be very careful and ensure that the law is not being abused and no fake charges are being pressed against the innocent civilians

Why our ulema Ikram (Islamic Scholars) are quite on corruption issues?

I have not seen a singe fatwa from them.

I think Islamic Scholars should also issue a fatwa on Corruption and Islamic punishment for it.
