Correct. But it would prevent Israel from flying over Lebanon. S-300PM2 range 250 km. S-400 range 380 km.

Not that I know of. But S-200 has shot down F-16I. S-300 especially modern versions like PM2 and PM3 are far more potent than 1960s S-200. They are a good deterrent.

IDF pilots are like single kids. They don't risk their lives. They don't dare enter range of S-300PM2. Syria and Iran bought MiG-29 from Russia. MiG-29 is Russia counterpart of F-18. Sufficient to defend Lebanon airspace.

Yeah the Syrians have the s300pm2 and the pantsir. They didn't stop the Israelis a few months ago. And the mig29 might be fine with a lot of training and infrastructure but just handing a few planes over will not cut it.

IDF planes do not enter Syrian airspace. They only strike with stand off missiles from Lebanon airspace. The only time an F-16I got a navigation error and entered Syrian airspace by mistake it got promptly shot down by S-200. Make no mistake, S-300PM2 is excellent deterrent.
