Geez is it not obvious Because it is wrong and funny at the same time . I find it hilarious when I see groups of religious people come together as a crowd and do some acrobatics for some imaginary one .

This is the first thing but not sole motivation .

What's the sole motivation then ?

It's because religion and every single one of them DEMAND respect . It's because they DEMAND to be not made fun of . Religion just like any other set of ideas is open to ridicule, inspection and mockery . More they try to censor it more it will happen . Somewhere in the future religious people will learn to live with it just like they do in the states . Christianity has more or less reached that point . Other religions have miles to go .

I will say again if you've a problem with something that you don't agree with in this case Islam than have a logical debate you can't just mock something because you think it's cool and if someone is respecting your beliefs than in return you should do the same this argument of yours is really weak.

If we do not question what we know then there is no scope of further improvement, we will be stuck with whatever we have. There will be no scientific, social and philosophical growth. Evolution of the human mind will also be redundant.
We should always be ready for doubts, questions and reasoning.

"Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing." [17:1]

You don't want to believe this fine but you've no right to hurt someone's sentiment by mocking it because that doesn't make any sense anyway you've dragged it into a religious discussion means you can't logically counter anything anymore so good bye.

I have not , I just gave you an example why there can be no logical discussion . Anyways it was a good discussion with no name calling so I am fine with it .
