dude why are you acting as if i'm gtting pleasure at the thought of keralites getting killed...stop this...no one enjoys seeing fellow people getting killed...

im just saying vandals on both sides must be dealt with severely and state govt must wait for the sc to pass its decision after a thorough study by an independent and competent scientific group...

OK, Kerala should welcome Jayalalitha, Vaiko and the various Tamil bureaucrats & technocrats who says that the dam is all right to live near the dam. It should be on a rotation basis. If Jayalalitha is busy, Vaiko should stay and if he is busy Ramdoss can take his place..thus Keralites can sleep in peace if they die, they will not die alone.

For Gods sake lets not feed the thread here in PDF, after all this is posted by a Lankan who always brings noting but Divide between INDAIANS.
Lets sort out this issue diplomatically and I am in support of new dam being a Tamil all we just need is that the old agreement be withheld and the water to our farmlands not disturbed.
Please my kearlite brothers do not feed this thread especially in PDF.

water goes to tamilnadu via tunnels from certain height, now what kerala govt is trying to construct a dam at lower level so that water will be less at the level where the tunnel starts..

All tall claims of " take all water is simply Bogus" because there wont be water at this level.

Look at the sesmic monitor for past 5 years there have been no major earth quakes in that area,, historically it is very less.

Let us consider a solution, you build the dam at lower level and leave the mp dam intact.. This solution kerla govt wont accept because the main issue is power from Iduki nothing else. .

more over for state formation
All trivencore kingdom is not kerala now all chera choza pandiya, pallava part etc etc are not tamilndau . the states were formed purely on linguestic basis. so nature is common for all.

When power is genrerated in neiveli, kalpakam, koodnkulam, we share it with rest of the states.
but it would be foolish to say we are selling it. because we ourself are buying power at 11 rs a unit where us it is sold to you at 3 rs a unit which is generation cost.

if 300 mw out of iduki is more important to kerala electricity board then poor farmers.............................................................................

why we are discussing this issue in first place ... there is not issue at at all .


if tamilnadu wants they can build a new dam at the same site

if Kerala wants they can build a dam at downstream with out breaking the dam

if the center wants they can fund both.


but

1, from Jayalalitha's perspective this is a chance to divert peoples attention from price rise (bus,milk,electricity)...

2, form kerala govt perspective this is a chance to win over votes and hide their incompetency in other aspects like industrial development of the sate..

3. from central govt perceptive this is a god given change to diver people attention from price rise, koodankulam etc..

let the two state people fight and grow enimity the three people will be happy.

I am from TN, i for one absolutely deplore and condemn the attacks by the Tamils if this is true. How very un-Indian like. there should be a restraints from both sides and resolution reached on a peaceful diplomatic means action should be taken on those guilty to the full extent of the law.
