Shooting at Another School in America

I would argue that it used to work...more or less as intended at its inception..and has deteriorated ever since...
...with more and more loopholes...human nature creeping in...finding ways to corrupt the system for self benefit.

Just to name a few examples...
Tax loopholes...where some of the biggest corporations and billionaires pay 0 taxes(or close to it...much less than their actual share). I highly doubt that the founding fathers had this in mind.

Internet/Cable companies...having divided areas among themselves as some sort of drug cartels. Eliminating competition and so they get to dictate the price...whereas ppl have no choice but to pay that for some abysmal service...having no other options...and yes...that's somehow legal for them to do so.

Things like super PACs allowing millions of dollars to be funneled(basically bribery under a garb to make it legal) to politicians. The founding fathers didn't create a clause for a super PAC anywhere.

Congress trying to stack up the supreme court judges according to their ideology. IIRC...recent example being Mitch McConnell leading a bunch of senators to block(not approve/delay) Obama's pick and instead waiting around until his term ends and a Republican president could be elected...and publically admitting so.
...I personally don't care whether a right wing supreme court judge gets appointed...or a left wing...it's just the dirty politics at play...abusing the system...that's appalling.

I've already mentioned things like Betsy Devos being appointed...almost bordering on oligarchy...
...then there's all the financial abuse...like corporations gaming the system...and basically getting away with it paying peanuts in "fines" compared to what they earn through their shady practices. A major example was the 2008 economic crisis...
...a relatively minor but more recent example(compared to the 2008 economic crisis) is that of Wells Fargo...
...where they fake inflated their worth by opening unauthorized multiple accounts for ppl...soaring the stock price earning millions for those at the top. Then when they got caught...they pinned it on branch managers and other lower level employees...paying a fine that paled in comparison to what they made.

These are just a few examples...I could think off the top of my head. There's much much more...
...the further back u look...the less the system seems gamed(an exception maybe the time slightly before the square deal).

As I said above, the system is not perfect, but it works pretty well overall. And it will continue to refine and improve itself, as it has done since its inception.

For all of the examples that you mention:

The tax system remains highly progressive, with the richest people paying most of the taxes:

Corporations do pay taxes, and the taxation rate has to be balanced between revenue demands and ensuring that US companies remain globally competitive.

Campaign financing can definitely be improved, I agree. However, the talk of stacking the Supreme Court has just been that - talk -a nd no more.

The other things you mention are more political than anything else, and it remains contentious by design. Federal regulations covering the stock market, insurance and mortgage industries etc can be improved, but the US system overall remains one of the best in the world. No wonder it is the biggest wealth generating country in the history of mankind.

Here is a litmus test for all this worry that you express: Look for a similar sized system that delivers better results overall.

.
Guns has to be control, lots of lunatics running with automatic guns and thousands of bullets.
Automatic weapons are illegal here in America. Also, nobody has thousands of bullets. Have you seen the ammunition prices? My stock is only 500 and going down.

I don't look at other abysmal systems to feel better about my slightly better one. I try to look at what I've got...explore any weaknesses...any loopholes that can be exploited...and try to better it. This doesn't just apply to a governing system...that's just how I am(my nature...slightly OCD and a perfectionist).

As for the corporations and rich paying taxes...yes they do..but it is not the fair share they are supposed to be paying. There are various loopholes exploited to lower the amount they...considerably. I'm not for the near communist type practices of trying to forcefully equalize the class differences by extremely taxing the rich...that would just drive them out and drive out businesses and corporations. I just want an end to the loopholes.

As I said, look for a similar sized system that delivers better results overall. It is easy to criticize but very hard to actually improve a system, which is why progress is slower than what many would prefer. But the system is improving, no doubt, step by due process step.

It is easy to criticize and hard to improve...but u can't seriously defend blatant flaws that are intentionally not being fixed bcuz ppl's loyalties are being bought(instead of a duty to the ppl...the duty is to the biggest donors). Hell there even have been attempts at some of those issues I mentioned...but they were stifled.

You mean like this:

A group of 136 countries have agreed to a global treaty that would tax large multinationals at a minimum rate of 15% and require companies to pay taxes in the countries where they do business.

Estonia, Hungary and -- most notably -- Ireland joined the agreement Thursday. It is now supported by all nations in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the G20. The countries that signed on to the international treaty represent more than 90% of global GDP. Four countries that participated in the talks -- Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Sri Lanka -- have not yet joined the agreement.

Such things take time, but the system continues to improve steadily.

My barely stable Father in law has 3 AR-15's, 1 Sniper , 1 some single shot rifle, 3 Pistols and cupboard full of ammo boxes.

This terrorist regime should spend more on Health and education rather than raping, bombing and killing people around the world.

The family and I were thinking the other day to shift to Texas for business opportunity.

But anyways, it's sad these shootings are happening in Schools and stuff, something is mentally wrong with these kids.
Something wrong mentally with the whole US society not just kids.

Silent racism is quit open and acceptable in south. Specially in larger cities Like Houston where it’s every racial group is defending their political turf like Prison gang. City management, city jobs, police system and court’s judges are all racial gang system. Black judges support black criminal, Hispanic representatives support illegals neighborhood and won’t cooperate with federal govt. unless you are a educated professional hired by a large corporation. The only job out there for you is to own your business and get robbed by black neighborhood. Police won’t do shit about it. Neither do black judges.

My family invests in commercial and residential real estate mostly. I do plan on going there in approx January to scout the area out.
