teh drug problem has gotten real worse more recently mostly amongst middle, upper middle & higg class. Before , it was such that if you did not serve alcohol, no one would come over. Now you gotta have booze and drugs. Couple of months ago an ex /former top model with last name Altaf threw a party & everyone was high or drunk. Yeah its from personal knowledge. Its high time that these drug and booze suppliers are caught.
T reason Im against alcohol & drugs at parties is that it makes women so vulnerable. I remember this beautiful pathan married girl so so high that she sat next to me and was pretty much leaning on me and what not. Obviously I had to act as a gentleman & had he chauffeur take her back home at 3am but the chances of something going wrong are very high at such events.It is now very common esp in Lahore for folks to take their whiskey or Taquila to any restaurant in posh areas and drink up. As for me I ve always resisted these things. Its just a bad deal.

Pakistan need to fix easy access of Afghans to Pakistan first (opium production in Afghanistan being a factor). Any Afghan must step into Pakistan with a valid passport and visa. Fencing of Durand Line must be completed, and UAV must be utilized to monitor it throughout.

Afghans settled in Pakistan, should be pressured to move back - exceptions can be made for productive families with intermarriages.

Coming back to flow of drugs and booze in private parties, isn't this a cultural problem? Isn't this a byproduct of Pakistan's morally bankrupt fashion industry? Why is GOP not doing anything about this? Why people not reporting and raising their voice in this regard?

Last, what kind of husband would allow his wife to attend a private party and take intoxicants?

The parties issue is a lifestyle issue. You cant really regulate what ppl do in their own homes but booze /drugs destroys families & character. There is a reason our religion has banned it. I know too many ppl who never gave it up and their kids left them behind in consumption and ended up in rehabs. Such a waste. These things happen when folks put the fear of God in the back of their minds. not only that, they rebuke ppl who try to tell them to mend their ways.I ve seen that happen too many times. I grew up among the socialites and folks from fashion, media, art and business from Lahore & Karachi. I've seen it all and knwo it all. I was never affected by it tho 7 never indulged in booze or drugs & still had fun socializing.

I cannot understand people's attraction to alcohol, It tastes like piss even worst and maybe one glass gives you a little buzz which is enjoyable but anymore and it makes you feel sick. Let this piss be available freely so morons can get drunk and tax received from it can be used for social work.
