Both things need to go hand in hand and one shouldn't be sacrificed for the sake of the other and furthermore, it is not the defence but the corruption that is plaguing Pakistan's economy so you need to focus on elimination of the corruption which is ruling supreme in Pakistan under the current corrupt regime.

We are going to established an Aviation City a complex of Universities for technological self reliance at KAMRA. We also need to boost up on war foot basis to upgrade our current civilian universities for produce world class professionals for meet our own needs for military technological self reliance in future as we are facing the hurdles for up-gradation of JF-17 AESA Radar, Powerful engine and EW and etc.

I agree the defense has to be solid , the enemy wants us to focus on dances and fancy culture shows , while they are building Aircraft carrier

We need 10-11 Surface shipt of 2000-3000 Ton size to make up for 90's decades and lost chance in last 10 years for new or used ships

Do not worry much about your Navy in comparison to India. India has large costal area to protect and we have different objective than than of fighting with Pakistan...India and Pakistan war will focus much on ground and with each nation using terrorist to inflict damage to each other...The days are gone when we will really see any formal war kind of situation.

Majority of Our forces are educated and no one is stopping anyone from studying
The enemy (INDIA) has sent us a challenge and they have to be responded with equal footing
You don't go on a DEBATE challenge with Enemy

Perhaps you can suggest a duel for poetry or a "Adabi" confrence

Also note majority of Pakistanis are indeed educated

With that stated I ask you

• Where are educated people of Syria ? Living in Tents being abused world wide as scum bags or racial slurs just because their country's defences fell
  
• Where are educated people of Iraq ? Civil war
• Where are educated people of LIbya , who got free eduction sponsored by Gadafi? Civil war
• Where are the educated Afghan since 1970? running around as refugee

So education while it is fantastic does not protects you from an enemy like INDIA


What is the status of our Navy ? Really where are our surface ship procurement

Since 2008 , when Musharaf desperately concluded deal for F22P frigate nothing has materialized for NAVY physically apart from the smaller ships (i.e Stealth boats or Missile defence)


This has nothing to do with Education , there are educated folks in charge yet they can't sign on the dotted line to buy stuff when it is due to be bought

but PN need to add more frigates base upon f-22p like c28a

• Even Indonesia makes usable corvette class ships

Considering it takes 2-4 years for ship order to complete I am not sure what the government has in their minds
