TTP just dug its own grave. If this statement is real they just made sure that loose support and even Afghan Taliban will be forced to take action against them.

Lessons from Afghan Taliban

What important is the liberty and freedom in print and electronic media along with the accommodated space to operate despite strict cyber crime laws passed by previous and current governments.

These may as well be desperate but are bolder measures as targeted recruits lay vulnerable in cities of economic disparity and academic institutions enabled by student unions.

Americans are gone, and so is the reason for their recruitment. TTP has fought against the American forces in Afghanistan, alongwith Afghan Taliban on a number of occasion, and it suited their agenda to keep anti-american sentiment high in the tribal areas. Adding a few updates about the recent negotiation between TTP and Taqi Usman lead delegation. ( At one point Taqi Usmani was a big supporter of Taliban and lots of his students are active in Taliban)

In last week's negotiation between TTP and Taqi Usmani, some new claims emerge. TTP claims they are the ones who fought the recent Afgan war against NATO and support the Afghan Taliban.
TTP demands complete control or independent or semi independent FATA up to the Malakand area, where they implement Islamic Sharia. In their point of view, the constitution of Pakistan is not Islamic and is against Islam or helping evil forces.
And Fazl ur rahman endorses their demand, who contest election within the constitution of Pakistan and enjoy all democratic perks and privileges. But, those who demand FATA independence are hardly 9 percent, whereas Fazl ur rahman gets support from Achakzai.
