Sharmeen Obaid wins second Oscar award

We have plenty of newspaper and media channels who are highlighting this issue of honour killings and acid throwing in different tv programme on local channels whether its dramas or debate about social issues.

And none of them gained the coverage and publicity, not to mention a screening with the Prime Minister and his commitment to enact legislation further strengthening punishment for such crimes. The fact of the matter is that her 'English language' documentary and Oscar win has received coverage in the Pakistani media in local languages and has publicized this crime more than any of the other programs you referred to.
