Shahid Afridi blessed with a baby girl

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi on Friday announced that he has welcomed his fifth daughter into this world.

"Almighty’s infinite blessings & mercy are upon me....already having been granted 4 wonderful daughters I have now been blessed with a 5th," he said on Instagram.

The flamboyant all-rounder also shared a picture with his four daughters along with the newly born.

"Sharing this good news with my well-wishers," he concluded his Instagram post which has earned thousands of likes from his fans.

I guess some people have not the learned the lessons of the government sanctioned birth control in China. Even the lessons of voluntary birth control has created in gender imbalance in China and India. They have armies of young males in China and India that may never get married due to lack of girls. I guess these two countries should make same sex marriage legal. This will create huge social unrest in these countries. Pakistan should never make any law prohibiting people right to have as many children they want.

You need a balance, instead of five kids have two, following chinas one child policy might be another extreme but you need some control. Is your govt efficient in creating infrastructure for densely populated cities, the answer is a simple 'No'. The traffic congestion , jobs , crime , food shortage , vote bank politics woes you see are all in a way linked to uncontrolled population explosion and existence of a inefficient governance system which is incapable of dealing with such problems.

So we need to sit down and now talk about this population mess we have created.
