You are all being too harsh on him. He is a simple person in obvious distress about the state of the nation and wants to find a quick fix. But statecraft is a slow and frustrating work. If he wants to achieve whatever he wants, he should privately build support within his country among Cabinet, Parliament, the military, provincial governments, business community etc., then they should reach out to other side and engage in long drawn painstaking negotiation wherein they will also go through their decision makers. It may take years. It may not even succeed. Look at Dayton accords, Good Friday agreement, Camp David accords etc., Heck, Brexit was a simple divorce and took 5 years and 3 Prime Ministers.

In that INTERVIEW mentioned in the first post, Prim Minister of Pakistan has announce that 'Pakistan has learned its lesson after fighting 3 wars with India" and after announcing that, he invited India for a dialogue . Indian media is having a ball with this statement and running special transmissions.

Indian response to Shahbaz Sharif's interview:

These Sharifs have amassed so much wealth (through ill means) but the boot polish/bikhari mode hasn’t got out of their DNA.

Haaza Shahbaz Sharifun Dallatun wa Haraamitun.

That's what you get when you put a khandan with legacy of Heera Mandi into parliament.

This is what COAS wants anyway. The wicked witch obliged with multiple nights of fantasy. Now the witch's husband is crying foul.
