Sex trafficking: The new American slavery. CNN reports

.
That's why i tagged him, this guy hamartia is just an other one. He is talking about something in Iran that is sanctioned by both law and religion whilst in US they have prostitution as a legal trade.
....
in US, people proudly talk about freedom of prostitution, and non of law nor religion have defined a barrier on it's way.
.

WTF are you taking about????
Prostitution is illegal everywhere in the US except for this one tiny town in the middle of nowhere in a desert in Nevada (Reno I believe ). It is illegal in Las Vegas BTW.

.
Lived in Atlanta for years and I never heard about it though does not necessarily mean the news is fake.

"Seventy-seven percent of victims in alleged human trafficking incidents reported in the U.S. were people of color, according to a Bureau of Justice Statistics Report."

I'm sure it is in the inner city neighborhoods in Atlanta you never ventured into.

I'm saddened by this report since I love this city, it is green, peaceful and has much less racial divide as compared to other many other major US cities. I always felt secure there apart from a few minor incidents. Discovered a lot of its beauty on a bicycle from Hartsfield-Jackson to Piedmont park etc.

Western regimes are very good at hiding their despicable practices be it foreign or domestic behind nice words.

Unfortunately you'd probably find out it is mostly poor black people, living in poor inner-city areas, being exploited by other poor black people. That's why you don't hear about it.

Wealth provides a nice thick blanket to cover all the ugliness. The poor does not have that luxury.

That's true..i mostly stayed on campus and seldom ventured outside for two years of my studies.. then I moved out and started business..so stayed away from the inner city. However, now I wish to observe myself ... though I spotted a few "night business" ladies on traffic signals but those were mostly white

Problem is when police attempt to clean up this stuff the jails start filling with a disproportionate number of minorities and people start screaming police are *only* targeting black communities. So enforcement as a result becomes lax and you get stuff like this:

Go stay here (if you dare):

STAY AWAY!
Hotel from hell! NOT FAMILY (or anyone) FRIENDLY! I booked this hotel online last minute after spending the day at Six Flags. Upon arrival, we were greeted by multiple prostitutes and their pimp/ drug dealer. The place is located in an alley with several strip clubs in sight. After making my way past the prostitutes, there was no one in the lobby. A prostitute informed us to knock on the door to get the office managers attention.

Well, the worst ever hotel I stayed was in Vienna just for one night but still it had 3.5 ratings on Tripadvisor and I remember feeling sick for multiple days after that night. It had a strange smell throughout hotel's long and narrow corridors. Cheap hotel is not an option for me since then I have to spend much on medical bills and suffer.

LOL dude I wouldn't talk if I were you....you guys have problems on a scale beyond comprehension...and even though it is supposedly illegal the authorities in China look the other way.

4 Million Chinese Prostitutes

Guy can't walk down the popular Nanjing Road in Shanghai without getting propositioned by multiple girls right in front of families.

They even setup shop in the US and bring girls over illegally just to be sex workers.

It is not uncpmmon for Chinese hotels to have "nghtclubs" in their basements. When a friend of mine (Chinese-American) and his wife tried to go in his wife was refused entry because they didn't recognize her as an employee as only "house prostitutes" are allowed...not street ones. You can imagine how his wife felt after being called a street hooker.

Undercover Michigan police no longer off the hook for sex with prostitutes

MLive Media Group. “These bills help ensure the ongoing integrity and accountability of our law enforcement system by clarifying what actions officers are exempt from while performing their official duties.”

The bills, House Bill 4355 and Senate Bill 275, were sponsored by State Representative Gary Glenn (R-Midland) and State Senator Judy Emmons (R-Sheridan). The State Senate approved its bill unanimously, but some House Democrats voted against HB4355 because an amendment that would have included other sexual acts besides penetration failed, according to the Detroit Metro Times.

No police agency opposed or supported the legislative effort, claiming no officer ever used the immunity or was instructed to have sex to further an investigation.

The Great Lake State had been the only state in the US to protect on-duty undercover officers from prosecution for sex with a prostitute.

“Michigan will no longer have the stigma of being the last state in the country that unintentionally exempts police officers who have sex with prostitutes during an investigation from prosecution,” Rep. Glenn said, according to MLive. “This common sense legislation has received significant bipartisan support because it protects our law enforcement and victims of sex-based crimes.”

In 2003, an undercover officer with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety received oral sex from a suspected prostitute, in violation of department policy, according to the Kalamazoo Gazette. That officer hid that fact from his supervising captain, who didn't even know the officer had gone undercover.
