The actually useful ones are Tablighi Jamaat "brothers" some of whom when working in IBM-India agitated not for establishing an employee union but instead agitated for prayer time and place. The "brothers" did not concern themselves with all employees' concerns but only their own selfish, outward, loud piety.

Thus when IBM-India removed thousands of employees unjustly there was no employee union to oppose the management's move. No use came of our TJ "brothers" having agitated in the company for prayer time and special place. Sure, the TJ is extra useful.

I did not understand one thing. I think I am not wrong in thinking of BNP to be close to the Jamaat-e-Islami. How come there are Hindus in BNP ? How comfortable are they ?

BNP itself is more of a centrist political party. Jamaat-e-Islami is a separate entity and are/were part of the political alliance led by BNP, among other political parties.

AL and BNP have little ideological differences, regardless what they claim officially. They would use both secularists and Islamists whenever and whichever suits their interests.
